Introduction: I specialize in both natural and artificial lighting techniques, as I do not want to limit myself to simply one style. I think every subject is deserving of much more than a standard, linear process. My unique ability . . . to tell a story with a single portrait. That is what which distinguishes my style from most other artists. I've had a passion for the Arts & Entertainment my entire life, and I love to tell a story with a single photograph. I, as well as Texas Western Legends and Legends of the West, both Old West groups, have utilized Jasons Hoss for several picture taking events. Some of these included candid shots, just the group interacting with others or themselves and not thinking of a photographer around. Then there were other times when he was contracted to specifically take certain, staged/set up shots. All these pictures came out even better than expected. Jason does a remarkable job of bringing the inner person out in the pictures he takes, whether staged or random. His uncanny way of taking candid pictures is the best I have ever seen done.Jason is very easy to work with and listen's to ideas the person may have. He is totally professional in all aspects of his photography and certainly strives to take and make the best of a photographic situation. His understanding that, this is a once in a lifetime shot, makes Jason even more of an artist and professional in his picture taking. If a recommendation is desired, I would be more than happy to recommend or speak with anyone about Jason and his works.

I am and was not a photogenic individual ,I believe it's because of the awkwardness of that intimidating lense and the anticipation of the shot, Jason Riley Hoss brought me out of my shell and helped me feel and act and look more naturally while being photographed. In my book Hoss is the best still life photographer of the 21st century

My pricing is fairly straight forward for basic packages. Pricing information can be found under the Pricing Link of my official website. It's best to call me to get a more accurate bid based on your needs. I can also make recommendations that you may not have thought of to make the session more original and creative.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continuously experiment with my craft, discuss experiences with other photographers, and of course, I love to research other photographer's work on the internet.
