FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Light It Up Electric provides upfront, honest, and transparent pricing so customers always know what to expect before any work begins. Estimates are explained in plain language, with no hidden fees or surprise add-ons. While some customers note that prices aren’t always the lowest, they consistently say the value is excellent because the work is done correctly, safely, and to a high standard. Your pricing reflects licensed, insured electricians, quality materials, and workmanship that avoids costly problems down the road. In short, customers pay for reliable expertise—and they get peace of mind knowing the job will be done right the first time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Initial Contact & Scheduling Customers reach out by phone, text, or through the website. We discuss what they need, ask a few quick questions to understand the scope, and schedule a convenient appointment window. We always call or text ahead before arriving. 2. On-Site Evaluation & Upfront Pricing A licensed electrician comes to the home, inspects the issue or project, and explains what needs to be done. Before any work begins, we provide a clear, upfront price so the customer can make an informed decision—no surprises and no pressure. 3. Professional, Clean, Quality Work Once approved, our technicians complete the work safely and efficiently. We use high-quality materials, follow all code requirements, and treat the home with respect—putting down protection, keeping the area tidy, and cleaning up afterward. 4. Walk-Through & Final Check When the work is complete, we walk the customer through everything we did, test the installation or repair together, and make sure they’re fully satisfied. 5. Follow-Up & Ongoing Support We answer any remaining questions, provide recommendations if needed, and remain available for future electrical projects. Many customers become long-term clients because they appreciate our communication, reliability, and consistent quality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Light It Up Electric is led by a Texas-licensed Master Electrician, which requires years of documented on-the-job experience, formal electrical education, and passing rigorous state exams focused on safety, code compliance, and advanced electrical systems. Our electricians complete extensive apprenticeship and journeyman training, including thousands of supervised hours in residential and commercial electrical work. We also stay up to date with the National Electrical Code (NEC), continuing education courses, and hands-on training for modern systems like EV chargers, smart home installations, panel upgrades, and energy-efficient lighting. This combination of formal licensing, real-world experience, and ongoing training ensures that every job is done safely, correctly, and to current code standards.
