In early April I was in a desperate situation with my thesis project for my Master’s. I had my back against the wall. I had probably done roughly 20 drafts and changes to my thesis and it was still not enought to satisfy the project coordinator to sign off on it. Graduation was approaching and I did want to be the only one in my cohort to not have his project done. I needed to have this project done and be able to make it to graduation with the rest of my cohort classmates and be able to walk and celebrate with no worry during the ceremony. I reached out to Ms. Steinmann and told her about my situation and that I needed her help to push my thesis to the finish line. She asked me to send my thesis over to her to take a look. She fixed one page and sent it back to review and if I was comfortable with her style of writing and work. After reading the page that she fixed, I immediately called her and told her she has my blessing to begin work on my thesis and that what ever needs to be fixed to fix it. Her communication and customer service was phenomenal. She would keep me updated as much as possible through a phone call, text or email. Ms. Steinmann spent roughly 30 hours on my thesis to ensure everything in question was taken care of. She called me and told me that she would be sending back my thesis and that I should go over it. As I began reading through my updated thesis, I was mind blown by Ms.Steinmann’s writing and editingservices! Everything in question was taken care of, sentences that sounded weak were re-written to make them stronger and any redundancies were taken out. We set up a phone call and we went through my thesis project together from the title name all the way to last reference. After this she told me that it is ready for submission and that it would get approved no problem. I submitted my thesis project and two days later the project coordinator emails me stating that my project was OUTSTANDING and greatly written!!! My thesis project was ready to be signed off by all signatories and ready to be submitted to the library! This was all made possible because of the help of Ms. Steinmann. To give her 5 stars is a complete understatement and does her not justice. She deserves 10 stars times 100!!!!! She is great, professional, customer services is beyond awesome, her communication is phenomenal and takes great pride in her line of work. If i were to go back to get my PhD the first person I would call for help in writing will be Ms. Steinmann. Ladies and Gentlemen she is the real deal!!! You will not be disappointed!

Karen is amazing, professional, and a wonderful person all around! I am sometimes a bit hesitant to reach out to people on Thumbtack because of the unknowing factor. Karen immediately put all of those worries away when I first contacted her. She followed up with an email, then requested permission to send a text which led to me contacting her on the phone. I was recently involved in a legal matter and needed to have a professional proofread my legal documents before I submitted it. Karen listened to me on the phone for over an hour to understand the background story of what I was writing about. She took her time with me and in a warm and caring way asked specific questions in order to gain a better understanding of the situation at hand. This was an emotional document I had to submit and she stayed on the phone with me and listened and was patience. Because how legal documents go, it took about 2 weeks until I could give her the actual document to proofread. Throughout these 2 weeks she kindly sent text messages a few times to follow up and to check in how I was doing. When I finally gave her my document, she had it proofread and returned back to me within 48 hours. She followed up with a text and a phone call to see what I thought. She trusted me to pay her, even though my work schedule put off paying her for a few days. After I paid her, I followed up a few days later with a change I needed to make in my document. She responded to me promptly, (within minutes) with help. She also told me that if I ever needed anything to give her a call and to let her know how it all works out. I HIGHLY recommend her services. She is a wonderful person, negotiated price with me and gave me a flawless document that I felt at peace submitting. Thanks Karen!! :) (Sorry for all the grammar mistakes in this review).

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With every project, I start with getting to know the client's goals and expectations. I ask them to tell me a little about themselves and their passion behind their project. If appropriate for the job, we discuss their target audience, unique selling preposition and branding message. We discuss timelines, methods of communication with one another, and measures of success. I love this process, and my clients speak positively about their experience and the results.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri--Columbia, and 30 hours toward an MBA in Marketing from the University of Missouri--St. Louis.
