He went inside and checked the A/C unit inside and found that there was a clog in my pipes that caused me not to have cold air. He was able to fix the problem and I was able to sleep very cold in the summer of Texas. I had a previous guy come out and he only check the outside unit and just sprayed the compressor down and charged me for it, as expected, it didn't resolve the issue. But Airtex HVAC actually went inside and found the issue from within and fixed it.

I can’t say enough about AirTex HVAC. Micheal and Ricky came out on short notice, diagnoses our AC issues, explained in “laymen’s terms” what was happening - which was appreciated, as I know nothing about HVAC units and gave us options on on how we could get back up and running. We decided to go with a whole new unit, instead of putting a bandaid on the nearly 20yr old system we had. They scheduled us in for the next morning install and showed up on time, ready to get us cooled back off as soon as they could. They were very personable, and worked extremely hard in the heat, being very respectful of our time and home. We now have a new air system blowing ice cold air and a new go to HVAC company to call, should we ever need it.

If you are looking for an honest, hardworking, and fair priced HVAC company... these are your guys. Thank you Michael, Ricky and Takk. A+++ Service!

The team they sent was great. Michael was awesome and answered all my questions, he explains things very well. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. My AC was blowing warm air I contacted AirTex and they came over the same day. The issue was freon which they added and then they proceeded to take all my money ($200) but now I am in a cool house again in the TX summer ;) They also cleaned both my AC units.

My AC went out yesterday and I got a quote from AIRTEX and picked them because their prices were reasonable for diagnostics, and the price per lb for R410A was much cheaper than anyone else was able to quote.

I was given a time of 8:30-9:30 in the morning and they arrived within the allotted time period, diagnosed the issue quickly and checked my system from the compressor outside to the heat exchange in the attic. They worked hard in the heat and completed the job in a timely manner.

As for value. Hard to say, I don't know how much AC repair generally costs for the job however it seems to be in line with that people have quoted for other repairs. They also changed out my filter while they were in attic.

Overall I have been very happy and will certainly use AIRTEX again should I have any other issues. I feel my system is now going to be able to get me through another Texas summer.
