The workers were to start on Tuesday, 06/15 @ 10am however, they didn’t show up until around 4pm & ended that day around 5:45pm. The team did a great job in repairing Pergola in replacing water damaged Cedar posts & rotten beams. Great job!
However, I was very disappointed in the newly built 4’ x 8’ Entry gate because the workers initially constructed the new gate using the wood boards of the old gate wood and about (4) boards of new lumbar to replace small area of fence next to gate. My original steel post still good, secure and in tact so no need to replace.
I addressed my dissatisfaction with owner and so he had the workers remove the gate and re-build it using the new lumbar as stated in the project proposal. However, I later discovered after inspecting the gate the workers still cut corners and had used remnants of the old wooden gate to construct the gate and had stained and painted it to match existing fence.
The quality of workmanship in building the new entry gate is less to be desired. It does not reflect the workmanship of a professional contractor but that of a DIY built gate.
I again contact the owner of Dynamo & was promised a call on 06/22 Monday @10am to discuss the issue about the poorly constructed $800 entry gate. Currently still awaiting
phone call.
Will write a follow-up review if, when & how it was resolved.
