FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I like to spend 3-6 hours getting to know more about a business and what makes your business a better deal for your customers than your competition. Then we'll talk about ways to highlight the things that matter to searchers and see about getting that on a prominent position on your website. THEN, we start driving traffic to the site. Some sites are really good, but I've found most business sites are good at listing features but not the benefits. This leaves a feeling of "So what?" in the minds of searchers. I'd rather drive traffic to a site that sells. You'll get the most bang for your buck that way.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Most SEO "experts" I've seen, do a lot of "Razzle-Dazzle around - "We'll get you on Page One." That's an incomplete sentence! The rest of that sentence is... "For any worthless keyword your want." So the advice I would give is either know something about keyword selection or hire someone like me who is not going to "Sugar Coat" the truth just to get your business. There are some markets that may take 6 months to a year to get on page one of the search results for key phrases that will actually bring them business. If you're not hearing that from your SEO guy, call me. I'll do your keyword research for you even if you want to hire someone else to SEO them for you. But you'll have good keywords and won't be wasting your money!
