FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wrote my first song at age 3. It was not a "crowd-pleaser," even though I thought I was singing it quietly into my pillow. I've been writing (much better) songs ever since. I wrote my first story when I was 8 and it was a crowd-pleaser, so I've been writing ever since. The editing work is a natural element of being well-read and very well trained in all aspects of editing...and writing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most commonly, and most frequently, I edit written work by post-graduate students. In the longer term, I edit non-fiction and fiction. I write and ghost write,as well.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
The proudest moments occur when I get to hold the published book that the author and I worked so hard to create, and they are the moments when my students tell me they received very good grades on what we worked on together.
