Introduction: I have over 25 years of experience in application and operating systems, software development in environments ranging from the stand-alone desktop to complex distributed-processing networks and real-time embedded processing. Operating systems include Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMS, pSOS, and a proprietary telecom, RTOS. Structured and OOP languages include C/C++ (Legacy and .NET), Perl, (DOORS) DXL, shell scripting, and a variety of assemblers -- Intel 8051 and 8080, Zylog Z8000, Motorola M68000 and IBM 370.
