Harmoniq Intellectual Tutoring Services

Introduction: Harmoniq Intellectual Tutoring Services provides tutoring services in quantitative courses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This service is focused primarily on students in the elementary and secondary levels, and tutoring is available in courses including: mathematics, geometry, algebra. We also provide tutoring for other upper level course such as statistics, and tutoring services are also available to students from other programs including undergraduate classes and community college courses. Our tutoring sessions focus on helping students grasp the concepts they will need to know to perform well in their class, as well as developing study strategies to effectively prepare for exams in their class. A long-term focus of empowering students is favored over a short-term problem solving strategy. Services We provide review courses and specific topic tutoring for courses in the following (not an exhaustive list): * Mathematics * Geometry * Algebra * Statistics * College Algebra * Economics Resources include collections of prior exam questions from each of the courses with extensive experience reviewing testing patterns. Students are provided with study strategies to help them better focus their personal study time to better prepare for upcoming exams. Students are encouraged to review exam results to see where they still have room for improvement. Experience has shown that many of the professors in the local programs use exams more for teaching tools than evaluation tools.
