- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is fairly straightforward and is listed on my website. It is broken down by service performed and I've had nothing but compliments on it as it is clean and easy to use. The best part of it is that I am willing to negotiate depending upon circumstances which has enabled other small businesses to be able to use me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay up to date via my membership in the National Notary Association, as well as the forums on several notary websites. I also keep up with the laws that pertain to my particular state as they change from time to time and it's important to keep up. All of these resources have proven to be invaluable to me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had moved to a fairly rural location where decent jobs are pretty scarce. Since I already had my notary commission, I started doing some homework concerning possible ways to use that commission legally but in a more broader sense. I found the mobile notary idea and went on to obtain my certification as a signing agent which was a natural progression for me.
