Let me start by saying this. If you’re looking for cheap, I’m NOT the right person for you. If you want it done right the first time and not have parts thrown, then I’m definitely your guy. You get what you pay for. Diagnostic equipment is very expensive. It’s not like I’m making a ton of money. My rates are the bare minimum to stay in business. Cheap and real diagnostics do not go in the same category. That’s what sets an automotive technician apart from a mechanic. I am a tech, not mechanic. If you want cheap I’m sure you can find someone who will do it. But they don’t come with a lifetime warranty. If my parts fail AT ANY TIME, I replace for free. Thats security and piece of mind you get with me.
Now, all that being said. If you’re still reading this I am the correct person to service your vehicle. If you stopped reading, I can bet it was immediately after I said I am not the cheap mechanic. On the flip side, I am 1/3 of what dealers charge. I am also cheaper than some mechanics. You get what you pay for. It took years and years to gain the knowledge and equipment. Nobody likes working for nothing. Another thing to factor in, the cheap people will guess and throw parts at it all day til it is fixed, almost like a black hole sucking your money til it is fixed.
