Introduction: I consider myself to have a passion for animals. I feel they have a great purpose in life. Although I would not consider myself the "animal" tree hugger, I do believe they think and have emotions just like humans do. When you talk to your pet or even just touch them, they know that it's you that's doing it. I have an understanding for who they are and what they are about. Rachel has house sat for our dogs for a couple years now. I completely trust leaving them in her care. Because of her previous experience working at a vet's office, she is even more qualified. Rachel also watered my plants, brought in mail and even fed our stray kitty outside. Most importantly, I know our dogs were treated just like I would have treated them (because she even texted a picture while we were away!). Her love for animals really shows and we appreciate her for it!

Rachel was not available, but she recognized my emergency need to find a pet sitter and referred me to Sabra (future mother in law? :) ) She dropped everything, came to my house within two hours, got a crash course in my pets and my fathers dog, and we hit the road to drive 15+ hours to Minnesota hoping to make it before my grandmother passed. We didn't make it, and the funeral was scheduled for almost a week out. She was not only willing to stay, but checked in daily, took the dogs to the dog park twice a day, and played with the kitties. When my neighbor got difficult due to one barking, she took care of it and made sure to stay all day so they wouldnt be disruptive until we got home. These ladies are a blessing, and I would not have been able to do everything I needed to do, plan and prepare a funeral, and get back if they were not here to tag team my animal possy. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone! Goes above and beyond.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Animals, all animals, are my passion and my love. I also like to help people in need and knowing that it's an arm and a leg to put a pet in a "hotel" or "boarding place that their not comfortable with, may not be the best idea for the pet or the parents. I used to see parents come into the vet and ask for "anxiety pills" for their babies because they would be in fear if their owner left them somewhere alone. I would rather come to the pet owners home and provide the best comfortable experience I can provide with out ever thinking that an animal needs to be on "anxiety" pills. I think that's just wrong.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We include watering your plants and picking up mail/newspapers. Any request you may have while your away we will get done for you. We keep our business as Professional as possible along with a lot of love and "baby talk" to your pets! :)
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently My partner, Sabra, and I watched 6 dogs. 4 of them were big dogs and 2 were small. There were all so happy go lucky babies and were low maintenance despite there winter coats shedding all over the place. I am proud because I figure if you can take care of 6 dogs with really no drama added, then a pet sitter will be ready to o BIG jobs for the future!
