When I first met him, I was like who is this long haired fella. Super high energy to match my dogs. His openness and willingness to work with u and you fur baby is his top priority. He is a great listener to u and to your furbaby. I guess Kevin was a dog in his previous life because his training advice has gotten my girls (female dogs) to be more trained. IN MY POINT OF VIEW his training works miracles. It did with my girls. U just have to give him a try and do it his way. Watch the miracle in your fur babies happen. Thanks Kevin because of u I have my hades hound (neighborhood named her that) under control with leash and those awesome games u have told me to play with her.

Kevin is a fantastic trainer -- for dogs AND their people! He has been so patient with our foster dog and has helped us all adjust to our changing environment. Kevin was even available last-minute to help us when our foster dog and family cat were not getting along. He helped us not only assess the situation but also keep both animals happy and safe. I truly believe that it is Kevin's guidance and the support from our Dog Rescue that carried us through the initial days as first-time fosters. Kevin helped make the experience a very rewarding one, and in turn helped us open up our home to a dog in need. Thank you Kevin for your patience, honesty and dedication. Two paws up!

I'm extremely grateful for the time, knowledge, and positive energy Kevin has shared with me and my dog over the last 2+ years I have worked with him. He has routinely offered a variety of training opportunities which I have benefited greatly from. From indoor to outdoor, structured to casual, beginner to advanced, and from working in place to moving along a trail, if you can name it, I think he has offered it! Many of his training classes are offered for free, which is an amazing service to the San Antonio community. Two of the things I appreciate most about Kevin are the fact that he is constantly learning and improving his own skills, and that he is a great about communicating with his clients, offering help and new services as needs/ideas arise. He has a positive, practical, science-based philosophy for training dogs, and a professional, tactful attitude for dealing with people, too!

I have been attending Kevin's dog training classes - both his 6 week basic manners & intermediate class, and his regular Wednesday Back to Basics classes. My dog Rouge has gone from being a skittish dog who while in public wouldn't mind at all to being an example for others to a certain degree. Kevin is very detailed in his training & helps the class to be fun & enjoyable!

Very straight forward and knowledgeable. He keeps class fun and it's always changing. Meet ups are casual and all handlers and other dogs seem to stay engaged.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been a huge dog lover since I was a kid. Began volunteering at the local shelter and filled my head with doggy knowledge through books, videos and attending yearly conferences and seminars relating to science based training.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Basic Manners group classes, Canine Good Citizen preparation training & testing, Assistance (Service) Dog Training, Agility, board and train & private classes or one on one (in home visits) available.
