Introduction: Hi, my name is Wendy Vaughan. I perform a variety of music, from pop, to oldies, to dance music, as well as my original music. I am a singer/ songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist including the saxophone! I have performed concerts locally as well as venues such as Sambuca of Houston. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My minimum fee is $1,000. Typically I can perform solo for up to 3 hours for that price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the customer will email me to start the conversation. We'll then schedule a quick call to go over all the detials. From there, I will submit a contract and ask for a 50% deposit to hold the date. Any questions and additional phone calls are welcomed once the date is confirmed. The balance is due on the day of the performance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been performing live for over 30 years. I graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, and have extensive musical training. I am an active member of Women In Jazz South Florida.
