We hired Martha for our small wedding ceremony at Stone House Vineyard (outside Austin). Marthas services were outstanding from my first conversation with her! Not only did she customize our ceremony exactly after our wishes, she even included our little puppy, who was dog of honor at the event. She went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect. Martha confirmed time and place with me a few days prior and she was on site early, which gave us plenty of time to sit and talk before our ceremony. It was just perfect! I would highly recommend Martha for your wedding ceremony!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently enrolled in a Certified Wedding Planner Certification program and will complete within 6 months. Will update here when certificate is received.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was serving as a church secretary. THe current wedding coordinator "quit' and they needed someone to fill in on the spot. That was my first wedding. I grew up the daughter of a Methodist Minister, so I was familiar with wedding etiquette in the church as well as familiar with the policies of that specific campus. The rest is history. I was the wedding coordinator for every church wedding for the next 9 years with the exception of three which were on days where I had family commitments.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Contact Vendors, acquire bids/quotes, communicate with client from the date the contract begins up until the day after the wedding. I carry an emergency "kit" with all kinds of miracle items. I have learned many little "ut ohs" that happen the day of. Most of all, I do everything I can to make your dream event come to life, and I anxiously await the "everything was perfect" comment as the bride and groom drive off for their honeymoon.
