- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A CPA is required to have 40 hours of Continuing education each year as well as ethic courses on a 2 year cycle.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I purchased a very small restaurant after my stint in the Military. I did not know anything about accounting. For two years I struggled with bills and could not seem to manage very well. After I met a CPA who helped me. The accounting was moved to him and I was able to concentrate on building my business. I grew each year for the next five years and was able to sell the restaurant and take a year off traveling the United States.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Tax, Bookkeeping and sometimes helping them with IRS issues
