- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on complexity in terms of time invested into research and doing the return. I usually give out discount for people who do both their business and personal tax returns with me. A basic individual tax return will cost $200 minimum. I'm not the cheapest or the most expensive, but what I provide is added-value such as educating my clients, provide quality products, and present both sides of the spectrum.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I would like to understand my client's tax situation and from there, ask questions regarding their current accounting and tax needs. Second, I would suggest a couple of options that would be in their best interest. Lastly, I would set up a meeting and discuss about the potential issues and resolutions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BBA in Accounting, IRS Enrolled Agent and take continuing education with Texas Society of CPAs .
