- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge one set fee for the 1st hour and for each additional hour a reduced price. The nature of my business requires knowing the size of the event you are planning, location and type of event. A corporate event of 300 families will require more supplies and time than a private party. I can give a quote over the phone for convenience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I frequently search for books and DVDs from renowned Balloon Artists to see any updates in the industry. Sometimes new designs or easier designs are shared between artists for improvement. I mostly practice during the week making designs that I envision in my mind. My wife also loves to draw ideas and challenge me to make all sorts of balloons.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I made an injured child smile with a Balloon Armadillo I made him in the ER department. I knew at that moment that I always wanted to make children smile.
