Sanchez Construction submitted a bid in August to repair and replace damaged concrete. Initially, they said the job would take 3 days. I agreed to the price and they scheduled a time to start. The day before the time to start the work, they call me to cancel. After several reschedules, they agreed to a start date. They said the job would take only one day if they started early and stayed late. They said the reason for the reduced time to accomplish the work was because they didn’t want to drive from Houston for three days in a row. They assured me that the work quality wouldn’t suffer. I had my concerns but I decided to trust them, BIG MISTAKE! The way they replaced the sidewalk caused it to become a tripping hazard. Instead of the new walkway being level with the existing walkway, it has a 3 inch step. For some strange reason they created a step-up on three of the four areas where they attach. I complained about the safety hazard that the steps were causing. They returned the next day and only repaired one step. I asked why correct only one step and not the other two remaining ones since they had a person there who could correct the problem. They refused to give a reason and refused to fix the walkways. If Huntsville was too far for them to drive, they shouldn’t have submitted a bid. They should have stated plainly that the job was out of the range that they could profitability manage. Also, trying to compress a 3 day job into a 1 day one isn’t a good way to produce high quality work. If a person doesn't mind a business that isn't interested in producing a quality product and only seems interested in making money, Sanchez Construction would be your choice. I have pictures of the job but your system fails to upload them.

Took almost a wk but concrete turned from 2 color to one color. Otherwise they were on time, answered all questions and give good prices. Willing to work with you regarding prices.
