Hi, I’m Aksana, a Houston-based photographer specializing in couples and engagement sessions, individual portraits, and intimate weddings.
Capturing genuine emotions and candid moments is what I love most and one of the strongest parts of my work. I want your photos to feel natural, warm, and full of life — not overly posed or staged. I’ll gently guide you throughout the session while creating a relaxed experience where you can simply enjoy the moment.
I work with an extensive range of professional equipment, including a Sony Alpha A7 IV, premium Sony 24–70mm and 70–200mm G Master lenses, and professional lighting for a variety of locations and conditions. I also use the Fujifilm X100VI to create atmospheric, film-inspired images with a beautiful cinematic feel. This combination allows me to create a diverse gallery that feels polished, timeless, and true to your story.

She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process, especially when it came to planning the photoshoot. I definitely wouldn’t consider myself photogenic, but you would never know that looking at the photos she captured. She made the whole experience fun, comfortable, and relaxed, and the photos turned out great. Absolutely recommended!

Working with Aksana was absolutely incredible. She helped me plan and capture one of the most important moments of my life—my proposal—and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
For almost a month leading up to the proposal, Aksana answered my questions almost every day and helped me think through all the details. She helped me choose the perfect location and even kept an eye on the weather since rain was likely that day. When it looked like storms were coming, she worked with me to move the proposal time up from 6 PM to 2 PM so we could avoid the rain. That level of dedication and flexibility made the whole experience so much less stressful.

My pricing is transparent and based on the type of session and length of time. Each package includes a set number of edited photos delivered in an online gallery + app for easy sharing and downloading. I also offer optional add-ons like extra photos or extended session time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a friendly conversation to learn what kind of session and style the client has in mind. If they’re unsure, we brainstorm ideas together. From choosing the location to planning the mood, I guide the process so the session feels effortless and fun.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started with mobile photography courses and later expanded into professional training and workshops. I’ve studied editing techniques, practiced constantly, and learned from real projects. My goal has always been to give clients the exact results they dream of.
