We had a last-minute elopement style wedding and I needed a photographer quick! Chris was amazing from the start! He communicated with me throughout the entire process, showed up early to my event, and got some amazing photos despite the rainy day we had. I will definitely be using him again for future projects! 10/10. Chris is a professional who loves his craft. He is respectful, friendly, and punctual. His photos are easily the best photos i’ve ever seen. You can tell how passionate he is about photography with how excited he gets after getting a great shot. He has a natural instinct for poses and lighting. If you pay attention closely, he tries to paint a story with his photography. Chris was also great at making us feel comfortable despite us being nerve-wracked on our special day. I would recommend Chris to anyone who wants the best they can get out of their event and photos.

Chris is very skilled and amazing at what he does. His cheerful personality is a plus point which helped me feel comfortable during the shoot. My fiancé had car troubles and we weren’t able to make it there on time but Chris was very understanding and made it work! He is willing to go an extra mile to make his clients happy. Chris did our engagementphotos.. he was on time and got everything done within the hour!! Wow! I showed he what we were wanting and he exceeded our expectations and more!! What a photographer!! We will definitely be getting back with him for more photos :)

There’s plenty of wedding professional photographers out there’s but there’s that one that stands out above the rest - and believe me you, Chris from “The Story Pic”met and exceeded all of our expectations. Unfortunately, many “Pro-Pho’s” don’t have that personal connection with their clients. For most, it’s just business, take pictures, pay me, have a nice life, we’ll see you later! Not Chris. You see, it was important for us to have someone that made us comfortable. Someone who listened to our wants & needs, and one who could capture incredible images. I’m so glad that we chose Chris because we got to know him from the first moments of the engagement session all the way through our wedding. Chris’s images are stunning, all the editing and work are exceptional. You cannot put a price on a “Once in a Lifetime” moment memories. You will get first class treatment and service, you will have quality work done without compromising this special event in your life. Oh and the value of what we got to what we paid, the outstanding work outdid the price we paid. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I ask for a 30% deposit to secure your day. This gets you officially on my calendar and you can cross “photographer” off of your wedding checklist. If you have a bigger amount to pay due to a longer range of hours that you would like to hire me for, I am flexible on spreading out your payments to make it easier for you.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is quite simple, first I have a meeting via in person, Zoom, FaceTime, etc. and get to know my client. I build a connection with them and listen carefully to what they are looking for. I answer any questions that they may have, and if we are a great fit for each other, we then proceed with the quote and service agreement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The best training and education that I have is hands on experience. Not only on my own, but with a wedding photography business that I have worked with in the past.
