- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We pride ourselves on complete transparency; unlike many in the industry, all service rates are listed on our website so you can plan with confidence. Whether you’re booking a Closet Cleanse, Personal Shopping session or Style Lookbook, you will never encounter hidden costs. Please note that a travel fee applies to any in-home sessions outside of Houston. Our packages offer the best value, allowing you to save up to 20% when combining services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin every partnership by getting to know you. Through a comprehensive style questionnaire, covering your lifestyle, measurements, and style preferences, we curate a bespoke plan tailored to your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our CEO, Valerie, has been styling clients since 2010, but grew up in retail as her father owned his own clothing store. She has worked with hundreds of men and women, spanning all ages, sizes, budgets and styles, across 22 countries. Although Shop With Val’s portfolio is very diverse in that regard, our specialty is helping those in need of a seasonal update or wardrobe overhaul. As Shop With Val grows, Valerie trains her stylists to ensure they have the experience and know-how to accommodate all kinds of requests, including petite, plus, formal, tall, maternity, modest, bridal, small budgets, and special occasions. Her team is fully equipped to handle any request you bring their way.
