The National Notary Association frequently sponsors "webinars" in which I participate. I also participate in two LinkedIn groups in which issues, problems, and questions are addressed. In fact, that's how I learned about ThumbTack.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mobile notary signiing agent facilitating real estate refinance transactions is most common. Involves getting the documents by email from the title company; contacting the signer(s) to confirm date, time, and place; organizing and tagging the documents to be signed and notarized; returning the completed documents at the time and in the manner indicated.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Fairly compensate an experienced, professional Certified Notary Signing Agent for their time, travel time and expense, and expertise. Determine the credentials and experience of the CNSA before selecting him or her. Pay in keeping with your stated policy and use the NSA for future transactions when the work is completed properly.
