- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a rate sheet that I provide to clients but most times the quote is based on the overall project and the client's budget limits.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I discuss the project with the customer and get the production details. Then I provide a estimated quote. If the customer is further interested, then we meet face to face or talk in detail on the phone on the project. I prefer face to face meetings so the customer can get to meet me and I can get to meet the customer to establish a good working relationship. I believe that makes the process go smoother. Once we agree on the production details and cost, I will put together and contract detailing the production. We both sign the contract which is legally binding and the customer is required to make a 50% deposit on the signed contract. I provide all the information the customer needs along the way and I involve the customer in the production for their complete satisfaction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in video production from Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas - Class of '88. I also have a master's degree in communication studies from Abilene Christian University - Class of '97.
