Hi there! My name is Valeria Lopez, a photographer originally from the Rio Grande Valley.
I studied photography at the University of Houston and have been practicing for over 4 years. My specialty is portraiture, working with teens, adults, and young children. It is my dream to be able to do what I love and help others, which is why photography is so important to me.
It is my passion to help capture precious memories and I would love to help you capture yours! Whether it be a graduation shoot, family portraits, or something a little more editorial, I'll make sure to make the experience as comfortable and special for you!

Valeria took our family portraits and safe to say me and my family loved them! She replied quick to my inquiry and was so helpful with our questions. Lighting was limited in our house but the pictures came out perfect! She sent the photos within a week, which is amazing because she had to photoshop a background to all of the pictures taken. Amazing photographer!!

My photo shoots are $150, but I am open to negotiation
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key! I will talk to the client about what they are looking for, what dates/times they are available, and give some options to make sure we are on the same page!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from the University of Houston with a focus on photography and digital media!
