Texans Shield took on my job and knocked it out of the park. My "like-for-like" replacement pergola was what I would consider a challenge, given the strucure's age, condition, and original build approach. Lavi and his team took their time and did it right. Materials were high quality. Care was taken to prevent future moisture ingress. Even painting was done with a primer and two coats. No corners cut. Lavi was also patient in dealing with me, as we settled on a scope of work and in awaiting HOA approval. I will hire Texans Shield in a heartbeat for future projects.

We hired Lavi and his team to complete extensive exterior renovations to our home in Cypress. We:
1. Replaced our roof 2. Replaced our back patio exterior sliding glass door 3. Repaired the bottom of the stairs to our deck which were rotted out 4. Replaced all of the original siding on the North and South side of our home 5. Painted the house
Lavi gave us a very detailed, clear quote for the work which was very good value and accurately reflected the work we wanted to do.
The work began in late January and took just over three weeks total due to the volume of work being done.
The work was finished to a high standard. His men were professional and we were able to communicate with them whenever we had questions. All parts of the job were completed to the expected standard and any issues found were resolved quickly.
Overall I highly recommend this business as a trusted company to complete any home renovation projects you may have. Lavi is a personable and honest individual who I will likely work with again when future projects present themselves.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A roof is measured by squares, each square is a 100sf (10ftx10ft). Our services range from $270-$400 per square, depending on the type of shingles selected by the home owner, overlaying, decking replacement, roof pitch, roof size, and other factors.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In order to save money to our costumers we like to give a rough estimate over the phone (instead of spending gas and a representative salary).
1. we will ask for an address and then order a report from our GAF Quickmeasure tool for free. if the property is covered with trees we may have to swing by and manually measure the roof.
2.Once our costumer agrees to our quote we will send a technician to examine the roof frame and decking from the attic space to get a more accurate price.
3.We will send our potential costumer a final quote for signature, and schedule a date for the replacement. We will collect a 10% deposit at this point.
4.we will collect an additional 40% deposit once the materials are at the property.
5.once the material are on site we usually finish a project in 24 hours.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always had a passion for construction, ever since I remember myself I had toy tool belt and I would run around the house trying to fix things that aren't broken.
