What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing for the project will depend on customer needs. Web development for a general purpose website is traditionally less developing a mobile app for an engineering or physics-related project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we sit down with the customer and discuss the desired end state, whether that is a new website, a social media management project or developing a software product. Once the end state is understood, a project plan is developed and a statement of work is created to list out what the end items are and the scope of the project. These meetings typically uncover items many gotchas that need to be addressed. Once the project plan is finished we start executing the project plan to successful completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors and Masters degrees and have taken courses on web design and development. I also have bought subscriptions to online text resources for unlimited reference materials that has been a key to completing projects much quicker than using traditional web resources.
