- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a freelance writer and editor because I was already writing and editing essays during my free time. As the old saying goes, "If you're good at something, never do it for free." With that being said, I made a profile on thumbtack and have been learning more about the freelance world ever since. With me being a full time student in college, freelancing helps me remain flexible and self sufficient.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please, always know exactly what you want. Freelancers are not mind readers, but we are definitely more than willing to help you and work with you.
