FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process is basically starting with a phone call or email and scheduling a date for first face to face meeting. I basically plan out at least 2 meetings, one for when we first get to meet and second usually a month before to make final details in playlist, set ups, and much more. We can meet more than that, but that is more up to weather we believe that we need to meet and discuss in person or talk over the phone. I am fine with either way.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I run audio for my home church at New Covenant Church. I've been doing it since 2010. About 2 years later, my cousin, who is also a DJ like me, learned that I run audio systems for live events and asked if I be interested to DJ as well. I started to look into things that DJ's do and such, I basically became fond of it and started going to gigs with my cousin, helping him set up and tear down. I saved up some money and asked my cousin if I could buy his equipment that he no longer is using and he sold them to me. So I've been running audio systems and performing as a DJ ever since. I got into audio because I liked how the board looked and became inspired watching different audio technicians and listening to the music that they hear. I love to create the music that I hear and letting others be able to hear it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with the most controlling type of people as well as those that would wish to stay hands free and give me free reign to putting together the entertainment.
