I am very impressed with John and his wife. First, he responded to my request for a quote very quickly. I had an urgent matter because it involves outside metal stairs and I needed it to be safe ASAP. I got on his schedule for the very next morning and he showed up right on time. Once he was here he understood the problem. I had only asked for welding but he recommended new bolts which I then realized was a very good idea and necessary for the job to be done right. They began immediately and the job was done in no time at all. I’m very happy with the quality of work and the amount he charged. I was very worried about the safety of the stairs but John took care of it and now I can relax. And I’m just grateful he had the experience to know exactly what to do.

John Pedroza with Universal Metal Work did a great job finishing the installation of our tornado shelter. What would have taken over eight hours for me and a friend to do only took John with the help of his wife about 1 1/2 hours. He modified the shelter to fit better in the corner of our garage, and he drilled the holes for the anchor bolts and installed them. I’m very pleased with their work. They will do a great job for you as well.

Contacted John because my previous metal contractor cut corners and my patio sag and had drainage issue. John came and estimated at time promised. He confidently said that he could fix based on what I proposed at a reasonable price. John showed up on time and did exactly as discussed. Even though he ran into more issues than he thought (more cuts than he thought) , he never complained nor asked for more $$ like other contractors when they run into unseen issues. He even makes recommendation on how it would make my patio look better and safety wise. I highly recommends John for any metal work! Wished I had hired him for my patio. Until next time John!
