- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've just recently looking into being a personal chef, I think it would be a great opportunity for me to continue to hone my skills. I've also been looking into cooking competitions in the area that I may compete in. Not to mention all the wonderful documentaries that have been coming out lately. I also am doing online school for natural medicine so I'm working hard to combine the two degrees.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Even when I was a young girl I would cook dinner for my family of 7. My mother was actually a horrible cook and I would come in the kitchen and fix it for her. She always inspired me to experiment in the kitchen which lead me to discover my gifts. I decided at a young age that I would go to culinary school and I never deterred from that goal. The more I got into cooking, the better I realized I was and that I actually could compete with some of the best. Out of my graduating class there were only 3 girls out of 20 men. I take great pride knowing I could hold my own in such a demanding industry.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I would love to be a cooking instructor to any cooking level preferably in your home. I'm also interested in being a personal chef in your home to provide your family with meals.
