- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first step is to learn and understand your vision. I want to hear and get to know you before making any suggestions. Do you know what colors you would like to incorporate in your photos? I can help with art direction. I also have support professionals on standby such as stylists and makeup artists that can help. Knowing where to start in this process is overwhelming and I understand that you want a good photo. I will make sure to ask the detailed questions to make sure that this will be a memorable experience. We will talk it through together. Are you wanting indoor or outdoor? What props are you comfortable with? Do you have something special you would like to add to your photos? We will then discuss locations, pricing, lastly a time and date. After the shoot I provide digital file via online download and walk you through print options. However I can help to make this process smooth, I am here to help. Creativity is my passion and I will put my heart into making your vision come to life.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in Communication-Media Studies. I focused my degree program in photography, video production, graphic design and marketing. I also have a psychology degree and I enjoy meeting people of all cultures and backgrounds.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started learning about photography in high school. After my first class and years later, I majored in communication with a graphic design focus and learned courses on how to market individuals, businesses and organizations. My partner studied art and received his degree from Austin College. Together we traveled across New Mexico, Colorado and now the hill country to be in a beautiful city that is diverse and where we can capture amazing photos.
