FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not charge per form or per hour. I have a flat rate system so you know how much you are going to pay up front.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially like to do a phone interview and decide if I will travel to the client or if they will come to me. At this time is when I assess the difficulty of the return. I have a bank encrypted LINK for those that are more remote and they can even sign for the return via DocuSign. This is a win win for some of my clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My mom is a licensed Tax preparer in California. I have work with her as an apprentice since 1985 (back when we did returns by hand). This has been a valuable training and she has been a valuable resource since opening my own practice in Texas. Aside from that I have been cleared by the IRS as a registered Tax preparer.
