FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $30 for 20 minutes - private sessions on zoom only right now. Zelle, Venmo or PayPal accepted. $60 an hour and $200 when booking four in a row. I am creating a online scene study with a limit of 10 people per month. It will consist of 2 hours once a week on a weeknight (TBA). Total of 8 hours =$150 per person. We will do cold reads, study material available, and do scene work with feedback from the others in the class.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to know what each person's goal is and in what genre. Then we begin with relaxation techniques and how to develop a relationship with the camera or microphone. After I know where they want to be we begin to work on the process of getting deeper and deeper into authentic characters and the meaning of the scripts, focusing on specifics, importance and of course, love.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been onstage since I was 2, and was in my first public play at 12. After a degree in Theater from the University of West GA where I directed and acting in many shows and musicals, I became an Atlanta thespian and musician. I invested in myself doing ongoing scene studies, where I began teaching Michael Shurtleff's Audition Guideposts, as well as traveling to campuses to teach. I began my film career, and worked regularly for corporate films and commercials, as well as live productions. Check out my IMDB. My favorite was Radio with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Ed Harris, and Miss Lettie and me with Mary Tyler Moore. I took a break and worked in the Financial Industry for 9 years after I moved to TX, and now I am back, doing voice overs, Casting, Directing, Writing and Producing. I have taught over 500 actors from 8-80 I enjoy meeting people from all the world! I am taking advantage of this Zoom technology to help in whatever way I can, as I know this is a mysterious beast, but so worth the effort! If you do what you love for work, you will never work another day in your life! I also love IMPROV and continue to take classes online.
