Brandy Hernandez

Introduction: I have been designing, developing and managing construction documents for 11 years. I hold an Associate's degree in architectural Design. I have designed and developed Blue prints in Architecture, MEP, HVAC, Telecommunications, Security, Audiovisual and Civil. I'm proficient in AutoDesk Architecture, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, 2D and 3D Drafting, Microsoft Office. I also have experience in BIM. I can attend BIM meetings and manage a CAD group. The last title I held at last Engineering company I worked for before becoming a contract for hire was Cad Designer/Cad Manager. I also have experience in the permitting process. and working with the city and plan runners. I have 11yrs experience in Commercial and 3yrs in Residential Projects. I'm currently Running Autodesk MEP / Architecture 2015 Software. I enjoy working with Architects, Engineers and Owners and being part of the design process from beginning to end. I also enjoy spending time out in the field taking field measurements and interacting with the GC, Superintendents and Technicians and other contractors seeing first hand what my drawings help build. I am passionate about the quality of my work and meeting every set deadline. I like teaching others, managing projects and leading other CAD drafters.
