I just had TLC come out for leaf removal, mowing, and edging, and I’m really impressed with what they did! The crew was on time, professional, and paid attention to detail. They cleared all the leaves, making my yard look super neat. The mowing was smooth, and the edges around my flower beds and driveway were crisp and clean, giving my lawn a fresh, polished look. Plus, they cleaned up everything afterward, so my property looked immaculate.

Be honest about the equipment that is required to do a though job. Asked twice in messaging, if they had a highly efficient mulching mower - and strong blower. Didn't reply with answer and asked them to call to answer my questions - stated yes. Told them I usually get this done by a lawn team that comes out with 4 workers, gas powered professional blowers, zero turn large mower that turns my leaves into dust. They charge $200 for 1.5 hours of work, but couldn't get to my yard for another month and is why I looked elsewhere. Asked them to come to look at job and give a bid. Didn't, but (assume desperate for job) offered to do it for $195.00. Showed up with a regular residential mulching mower that I have myself, and a residential blower (my personal blower was more powerful than the one they used). Their process was very antiquated in that, (when I do it myself) and the other lawn service blew all my leaves within 30 minutes into manageable piles before running over them with mulching mower. These guys blower was not strong enough and had to turn it off allot and rake (not efficiently). From what I gathered, this was a son's business where his father (or father-in-law), came with him and was large and in charge, doing all the talking. Very unprofessional: Introduced himself twice and shaking my hand within 5 minutes, stating, "We'll have this knocked out in 1.5 hours," complained about how many leaves we had, and was always looking at me with being out of breath and tired. It took them over 3 hours to complete poorly. I got a feeling before they came out, they were not prepared for what was to come and did 4 hours of work myself on the yard the day before (weed eating and blowing behind tight spaces where sheds were, weed eating along the fence line as leaves had collected for two years (compacted to break them up) and had sticky weeds growing around them, making it difficult to blow, blowing on the other side of chainlink fence to help get it away for easier blowing. At the end of the day, there were many leaves that were not gathered, and I don't expect a perfect job in a rural setting. The other lawn service, realizing much dust comes from this process - always blows our cars off, front porch and chairs off before leaving (Thoughtful). I did move our cars away from the yard, but had to clean our large front porch with 4 chairs that were covered in dust. Something to keep in mind, they are a startup with not much experience and stated they didn't have the money yet for better equipment. If you have a small simple yard, they could do this easier.
