Kristin assisted us with planning our daughter's wedding that took place in Montgomery, Texas. We engaged her pretty early in the process and she was able to take our ideas and help us bring them to reality. She really listened to what we wanted and then went to work on it. She was totally tuned in to our tastes and did things that I considered to be "above and beyond", and actually saved us money in the process. I would recommend Kristin for any event you may be planning. Do yourself a favor and let her handle the details and take your stress away!

Kristin is incredibly organized yet easy going, friendly, and creative. She is unbelievably talented at planning and staging picture perfect events/weddings in the most seemingly effortless way possible! She is very attentive and does a wonderful job of really listening to your ideas and somehow takes them to the next level, making them even better than you had imagined! The party was lovely. The decorations were adorable and just what I had in mind. The crew worked seamlessly and with a smile om their faces, making guests feel completely at ease. Kristin and her mom worked tirelessly and made it look effortless. By far, the thing about this party that went the most right was Kristin and her crews. Set up to clean up, it was a well oiled operation. Many of my friends are party throwers as well, and they all demanded to know who the planner was. Could not be more satisfied. I have used thumbtack many times for projects and have been bummed every time except for with Kristin. Would highly recommend over and over again for your vintage affair.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My biggest advice to you would be make sure you can relate to your planner and feel comfortable with them. As a planner, I am here to create your day, so I want my clients comfortable telling they love something and more importantly their dislikes. This helps me to understand and take better care of you. Don't be afraid of hurting our feelings, be honest in what you are feeling and want.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
To make an event flow seamlessly there is a lot of work before the day, scheduling vendors and laying out the timeline., bringing the details together. So many times I hear a client say "I don't want to be on a schedule". My goal is to have all the components included in the event and no one realize that we were on a schedule, they just remember what a great time they had.
