FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Foundation Werks has a minimum project scope of $1,500. Since we do not subcontract our work, each project requires mobilizing our trained crew, specialized equipment, and materials. For smaller areas, we can review additional concrete concerns nearby to help meet the minimum and provide the best overall value.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our Process is Easy as 1-2-3 1. Book Your Estimate Schedule your estimate online or call us directly. 2. Concrete Clarity Check One of our technicians will come out to complete a concrete assessment. During this visit, we’ll review the problem areas, explain what’s causing the sinking or uneven concrete, walk you through the recommended scope of work, and provide clear value for the repairs needed. 3. Approve & Repair Once your bid is approved, our team can typically mobilize within 48 hours or less to complete the repair. Scheduling may vary depending on workload, but we work hard to move quickly. We also offer discounts for customers who approve their bid the same day it is received.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our story is personal and truly hits home. Foundation Werks was inspired by helping an elderly Texas homeowner whose concrete issue started in her driveway and slowly became a much bigger problem. Over time, soil erosion and poor drainage allowed water to move toward her garage and eventually impact her home. Doors stopped closing properly, water began intruding, and what started as a driveway concern became an extensive repair need. She was over 80 and had lost her husband of over 40 years to cancer, no family nearby, and did not have the budget for a full replacement. That experience pushed us to find a more cost-effective solution that could help homeowners before the damage spread. We discovered polyurethane foam lifting and stabilization, a cleaner and more water-resistant alternative to traditional mudjacking. Since then, our mission has been to educate customers early, protect their homes and properties, and offer repair options before small concrete issues become major problems.
