I am a residential/commercial security systems consultant that works for the client at NO CHARGE. Based on the client's needs, I tailor a system and match an installation company that I have personally been working with for a minimum of 5 years. I handle the design, equipment, project management and customer service. We are meticulous when it comes to our installation work and take the time to understand the customers needs. Chris was initially contacted via Thumbtack to bid a 4 camera security camera installation at our home. His estimate was fair and timely. We changed our camera requirements and Chris again quickly responded with a new estimate. After the bid was accepted and a date for installation coordinated, Chris and his crew arrived ON TIME and after going over our wishes in terms of location installed the cameras and monitoring equipment in short order and had it up and running with no hassle approx. 5 hours later. Kudos to the installer working on one side of our home for not engaging our neighbor who seemed upset over the location of the camera being installed and made several threats. The equipment works as advertised and we are satisfied with the final result. My only suggestion would be to make a pre-installation visit if time permits. There was a slight mix-up about location and we truly wish this could have been resolved in a more satisfactory way. While the location in the end will work, it is not exactly what we wanted and this might have been avoided if a pre-installation visit had been accomplished.

This group contracts out so I had 2 different companies actually doing the work which was NOT expected. Alarm system is fantastic and I was shown everything before the contractor left so I am super happy with the security portion of the install.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are continually attending training seminars held by manufacturers and distributors in addition to attending trade show events for our industry. I have owned and operated my own security company since 2011. I recently sold the company and decided to continue with my passion for the security industry by becoming a consultant in my area of expertise.
