Like everyone else, I spent a good amount of time researching the perfect insulation company before making the choice. I decided on Commandos because of the outstanding reviews. I'm glad that I can add on to it.The entire process was quick and painless. Wally showed up for the initial estimate and then after reviewing our choices, we decided to go with the fiber glass option. It's been about a week and we already noticed a huge difference in how little our A/C is running. I'm really thankful we did this before it got too hot and now I'm not as worried for the Texas summer months. I'm just blown away at the difference properly installed insulation (professional cleaning and sealing) can do. And by the way, our attic did previously have both rock wool and fiber glass, but it was done poorly.Everyone we've spoken to here has been extremely courteous, professional, and friendly. If you're on the fence, I'd go with these guys. And yeah, the Veteran-owned is always a plus."See more

Energy Efficient Pros did a great job completing all of this rapidly, with great workmanship and at a competitive pricepoint. They also did not hesitate to provide me with follow-up documentation that I forgot to ask for some time after the project was completed so that I could submit the energy improvements to my power company and qualify for additional savings, which I greatly appreciated. Amy Z. says, "You know how sometimes you get multiple quotes (because you're an adult, and that's what you're supposed to do) but the pricing and service end up being pretty much the same across the board, so you feel like you kinda wasted your time? Well, that is THE EXACT OPPOSITE of what happened to me when I found out I had roof rats. (Let me just say that I will never EVER be tempted to skip the "multiple quote" process again.) I reached out to another company who had good reviews and who seemed to be such a good choice. The guy came out and was SO nice. I really liked him! Then he gave me his quote - TEN GRAND. Yep. Ten THOUSAND DOLLARS. Gah!!!! While I had serious sticker shock, I also thought "I guess it makes sense.. it sounds like a huge ordeal.. I mean, they have to re-insulate my entire attic, and it sounds like it's not easy to make sure the rats dont return." But $10,000?!?!? The next day I reached out to TX Home Solutions for a second estimate. I thought the best I might be able to do is save $1000 with another company.. (yippeee..) But when Nathan came out, it wasnt long before I realized that I had almost made a $6500 mistake. (Can you even imagine finding out later that you overpaid by $6500?!?!?) Yep. He was awesome. His explanation and method made so much more sense than the big company (with the big price tag) and his warranty is the same. The rats are GONE, the squirrel is GONE, and I have brand new, much better insulation. And I didn't have to spend a small fortune. AAAND if I hear any little freaks up there again, all I have to do is call them and they'll come back and fix it - no charge. I wish I had read a review like this - because isn't this all we want to know? Who will do the job well for the least amount of money? It's this company. This is the one. There. Now you know.
