Introduction: FinishedLux provides HD makeup services. HD application means it is less likely to crease, and it will not look cakey nor patchy in HD film/photography. HD makeup application also prevents flash back on flash photography. I am a state licensed Plano makeup artist with over 4 years experience in various areas of the makeup industry. Ive always had a passion for the arts. I started my professional career freelancing at local events such as Northpark Mall modeling shows for department stores, teaming up with photographer Petra J. Beenhackker (Dutch Photo Artist) at photoshoots, and competing in state recognized aesthetic competitions such as SkillsUSA. My favorite part is that I continually get inspired by my clients and the creative collaborators that Ive had the pleasure working alongside.

My artist Shelly was super nice and was very open to working with me on getting the exact look I wanted. She offered a lot of great suggestions on things I wasn't sure of either. I have hired her for several photoshoots because the makeup she uses along with her application techniques really help the makeup look flawless

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a very clear understanding before hand of the requested look/event. This allows me to make sure I have the best equipment and makeup on hand for my client. I love open communication before and during the process to make sure even my pickiest clients get exactly what they want.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed in the state of Texas as a cosmetologist. Certified for HD makeup application.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Within the past year I have been the makeup artist for a professional photographer on mystical/haunted photo shoots. It has been a pleasure widening my range from personal prom/wedding application to more dramatic photo/video makeup as well.
