We hired Dustin to replace some wood on a gate that burned in a wildfire and also to add steps to a Derksen shed. He did such a great job (and quickly) we decided to hire him to finish out the interior of the building which he did the steps on. And after that, we had him install tongue and groove on our porch ceiling and also install fans and a new porch light. We were on a budget so opted to paint ourselves. We appreciate him working with us and our budget and feel like he did a really great job. If this review will allow I will post pictures after we finish painting. I highly recommend Johnson Carpentry.

We hired Johnson Carpentry for three jobs: the first was a remodel of our contractor grade pantry; a tear out of a patio Hardi-plank ceiling and replace with a tongue and groove wood ceiling including adjustable led lighting and balsa bladed ceiling fan; the paramount project was to design and build an outdoor box with retractable large screen TV.
The pantry, instead of wire racks and metal brackets, now features curved wood shelves, lighting upon entry and well designed hanging system.
The ceiling is beyond beautiful. The stained tongue and groove wood is accented by black recessed lighting and adjustable speed balsa blade ceiling fans.
The outdoor TV box is stunning. It contains the retractable electric powered arm. The box matches the ceiling. The bottom cover secures against the weather stripping by the use of magnets.
The quality of the work is amazing. Dustin is perhaps the meticulous craftsman I’ve encountered. He won’t cut corners on materials or fit and finish.

Had an ugly wire pantry with lots of unusable space and stuff overflowing. With his help came up with solutions and an excellent end product. Absolutely love the end result!

Dustin did a phenomenal job converting an old 90s style built in TV cabinet into a modern entertainment center for me and my family. Dustin was able to take the vision my wife and I gave him and create a new entertainment cabinet that looks as though it was originally done when the house was built in 1992.
Dustin has phenomenal carpentry skills and provides a white glove professional service that is hard to find in San Antonio.
