- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a baby my mother had a best friend that lived on a ranch where she took care of and trained the horses there. I would go there almost every weekend and just watch and ride with her. it was all over after that, I was a full on horse fanatic. from there I took lessons and taught my friends to ride. taking camp counselor positions, leasing different horses and owning my own horse at one point. I plan to have my own ranch one day and may of my own horses to ride and teach on.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
make sure you mesh well with your coach/care taker and have somewhat of the same views. just chat with them before making a decision, makes life a little easier!
