- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is determined by the size and difficulty of the project. Every project is unique and can't be compared to one another. We also like to offer price matching on certain jobs if our price was much more than another company.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I, myself, will contact the customer or the customer may contact me and we will schedule an estimate that works for the both of us. After that process is complete we will send over an estimate to the customer that will have in description of what the job entails and how much the job will cost. Once we have agreed on everything inside the estimate, Centex will then receive a 50% draw to begin the project. After the project is completed we will then receive the last and final 50% of the project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been around construction since my dad and grandfather where both in it for some time. At first it started with me on the job sites just sweeping and picking up trash just so I had an excuse to be on the job site with my dad. I began to realize that construction was just a way of life for my family and I, not because we needed to do it but because it was something that we enjoyed doing. When I got older I began to think of all the options I have and what I could do with my knowledge of construction. I began to do research and really enjoyed the concept of concrete and what it all entails. After many, many jobs working in concrete with my dad or other coworkers I learned so many different ways to do this kind of work and be able to add my own personal touch. I really wanted to be a business owner so that later in life, I have something to pass down to my kids or grandkids other then just my knowledge of concrete.
