Steven Williams and his crew did a great job installing flooring in a bedroom, replacing outside stairs, and some other carpentry work around our home. They were punctual and made sure we were pleased with all the work performed. Will definitely use them in the future.

Hi Thumbtack, My wife and I had a dog door installed on an exterior wall of our home. After posting the project, Stevan responded, and after a short conversation about the specifics of the work required, agreeing to a price and a time, Stevan arrived and promptly got to work. The job required a bit more effort than was initially anticipated due to our home being custom built-in 1980, and the place where my wife and I wanted the door to be placed turned out to require an outlet to be relocated to the other side of an existing stud. As it turns out, our house is exceptionally well insulated. Our exterior walls are actually about 7.75” thick, which includes both fiberglass batt and multiple layers of foam insulation. Stevan took all this in stride and took the extra time necessary to complete the job correctly. When our 3 years old woke up from his nap and wanted to ask all kinds of questions, not only was he respectful and entertaining but when our son took a keen interest in a mini tape measure keychain Stevan happened to have, he actually let our son keep it. We’ll definitely be contacting him again for any jobs which might be in his wheelhouse, as what he charges for quality of service and professionalism he provides is a bargain.

In getting hardwood installed, the contractor noticed that our plywood was damaged which halted their work. We placed the project on Thumbtack, Steven promptly responded and worked us in the very next day in order to keep our other project on schedule. He was prompt, professional and did excellent work. We will definitely work with him again on future projects.

Asked have a door installed in our master bedroom room. It came out even better than expected, and asked him to do our other door project. Everything was done quickly and it looks amazing, as if the door was always there. We definitely be hiring him again.
