- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not really complicated ... I charge by the hour for one time projects but if I am going to be setting up and managing the Social Media for a company, I charge by the month instead. This is a better deal for them as depending on the amount of interaction with their pages, I am on them quite often.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took a Social Media Marketing class here in New Braunfels where I ended up teaching the instructor something he didn't know. I also took a Constant Contact Email Marketing class in San Antonio.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As Marketing Coordinator at LumiQuest I was responsible for all aspects of social media marketing as well as designing print and online advertising. I saw the effect social media had on LumiQuest so I started Marketing Connections Plus to help other small businesses take advantage of all that Social Media has to offer.
