FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no standard pricing in family law cases. It all hinges on the exact circumstances of your case and what issue are in dispute. I can ensure you that I am reasonable with billing and delegate the appropriate tasks to my staff to keep your legal fees down. I can also work with clients on payment plans, if necessary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I start with a brief telephone consultation to ensure I can assist you in your matter. Next, we will schedule a time to meet in-person and fill out the necessary paperwork. As it is ideal to meet clients in person, I am flexible and can always work around your schedule to arrange a meeting over the phone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Obviously I am a licensed attorney to practice law in the State of Texas, but I am also a qualified mediator and I am trained in collaborative law. Being trained in those areas enhance my ability to reach a reasonable and creative solution to each client's individual issues, when necessary.
