- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For parties and events, I charge $85 per hour which is inclusive of henna designs, aftercare instructions, glitter and a sealant. Other than that, most designs range from $10-$20.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family comes from Pakistan, where henna is a traditional and cultural art form. We often adorn ourselves with it for weddings and different ceremonies. I was inspired to pursue henna art professionally by my aunt, Seema Khan, who is a Canadian henna artist located in Calgary. Following her footsteps, I too decided to share my art with others!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Parties are the most common. I charge an hourly rate and will travel to your venue, whether it be a hall, outdoor space or residence. I will make sure all your guests are beautifully adorned!
