FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I wouldn't call my system complicated. I would say that in order to give a reasonable price for training, I'd have to have more information from each client. I give pricing during the FREE initial assessment based on a variety of factors. If you are going to train alone and live farther out of my service area, this would cost more per session. If you are training in a group and will be using more sessions in a month to reach your goals, the price per session would be less. I have to have this information in order to give the price. Also, I provide various rate discounts for EFT setups and for packages such as Bridal Boot Camps.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have to continually stay up to date on the latest in fitness technology in order to keep my clients from getting bored or going to someone else! I am a certified trainer, so I also must keep up with continuing education credits to maintain my certification.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to become a trainer because I enjoyed the feeling of helping someone else reach her personal fitness goals. I struggled a lot to lose a significant amount of weight, and when I see someone else having to go through the struggle, I try to help as much as possible. After helping so many other people through giving free advice, I decided it was time to make this a job. I always hear "if you love what you're doing, you'll never work" and figured this was the best thing for me!
