FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our usual rates are based on a specific charge per hour (rather than by individual notarial act) WHICH covers UNLIMITED services for each notarial session. Depending on your particular situation, we may need to also ask for additional fees to cover reasonable expenses such as necessary supplies, out-of-town travel expenses that may require me to travel outside of where I live, and applicable sales taxes. For other types of projects that are NOT notary services-related, other estimates, prices, and conditions may apply. Please contact us for further details and/or questions you have!!! (SPECIAL UPDATE: Due to problems even getting new clients and convincing them of the need to do business with me (and plus my URGENTLY DESPERATE need for money NOW)--I've decided to pursue a brand-new radical and much simpler pricing policy for all FIRST TIME NEW CLIENTS...by FIRST asking YOU how much do YOU want to pay me and how much can YOU afford and how much do YOU think my services are worth to you!!! THEN--YOU in essence will be setting your price for the whole shebang under TWO conditions...(1.) I WILL NOT WORK FOR FREE--you WILL be required to pay SOMETHING for my services!!...AND (2.) If you DO NOT specify a price that I feel is reasonable to me and that can help me out of my own current financial misery (which to me, if you must know, is NO LOWER than a $20 bill...surely you have THAT to spare for the QUALITY work I plan to offer you) , I WILL THEN REQUIRE a TOTAL MINIMUM CHARGE of a $20 bill to at least cover as much as possible my time, efforts, equipment, and expenses that I have to work for you so that I can convince you and others that I ALONE should be the person to call for any and all of the services I offer! (AGAIN--this is for FIRST-TIME clients ONLY...other terms and conditions may apply!)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For all initial inquiries, we DO provide a FREE initial consultation via email or phone to discuss your needs and assist you in helping you decide on the best course of action for you depending on the particular situation at hand. ALL NOTARY SERVICE CLIENTS--PLEASE NOTE that we also ask that you be prepared to provide the following: (1.) I require that ALL participants (signers, witnesses, etc.) be PHYSICALLY present AND ON TIME FOR SESSIONS as is possible. Failure to do so can either result in either additional late charges or possible outright refusal to provide notarial service altogether. (2.) I also require that ALL participants have appropriate photo ID for identity verification purposes. (In most cases, a VALID driver's license or state I.D. will be more than sufficient to meet this requirement.) (3.) I also require all participants to be prepared to be put under either appropriate oath or affirmation equivalent to what you would be required to undergo in state district court due to some things I am required to assess as a commissioned notary under both state law and ethical standards. (4.) If other languages besides English will need to be utilized during the session, Client will need to provide a capable person as a translator who will be willing to be placed under separate oath/affirmation for the session involved. Failure to produce the above will be considered just cause by myself as necessary to refuse notarial service. FOR ALL OTHER SERVICES--again, please contact us for further details!
